Arabic

Students have been engaged in learning about cultures from around the Arab countries practising both their spoken and written Arabic skills. Students have enjoyed all the hands on, kinaesthetic activities - especially Language Day & Harmony Day celebration where they were exposed to the food, custom and music. Students learnt some traditional dance from Dabka workshop the school had organised.

Students also went to The Islamic Muslim where they enjoyed virtual reality about the Arab world, hands on activities in an Arabic calligraphy workshop and going through all the gallery of the museum to see all the Arab inventor through history. The school is happy to host our annual Ramadan book fair in the first week of Ramadan. Monday May 6th - Friday May 10th.

It has been a wonderful term of language learning and the students are becoming pleasingly confident and proficient.

Enjoy your holiday everyone,

Mrs Geehan
